Terms & Policies



  • We encourage clients to make reservations in advance to secure their spot in class. Reservations may be made through our online scheduler. We will always do our best to accommodate walk–ins.


  • New clients are requested to arrive fifteen minutes prior to class. This allows ample time to fill out a liability release form and gives clients the chance to share limitations and/or injuries with the instructor. Existing clients are encouraged to come at least five minutes before class to get set up and be in place for the start of the class. Also signing a wavier before starting with Journey Yoga.

Cancellation & No Shows

  • Cancellations must be done (the same way you registered for the class) by logging yourself in to your online account and taking yourself out of the class. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT CANCELLATIONS BY PHONE OR EMAIL.

  • Failure to show up for a class you’ve reserved a spot for will also result in the loss of your class (from your package) PLUS A $10 NO SHOW FEE.

  • Don’t be afraid of the WAIT LIST.  A majority of all WAIT LISTED people GET IN to class!  YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED BY EMAIL so if you are on a wait list, it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to CHECK YOUR EMAIL.

Please keep in mind…

  • Consult your physician before beginning any yoga practice.

  • Please plan on arriving a few minutes early to sign in, store your belongings in a locker, and set up your mat and props in the studio.

  • Please plan to stay through the end of the class. Leaving early is disruptive to the other members of the class and prevents you and others from gaining the needed solace from the class.

  • Please turn off or silence your cell phone.

  • It is best to practice before eating; if you eat before your yoga practice, please make sure that it is small and light.

  • Listen to your body, if you experience pain or electrical impulses, don’t do the pose. A pose may not feel comfortable due to stretching or muscle shaking and that is a different sensation. You are welcome to modify the asanas (poses) as needed and appropriate.

  • Choose a class level that is appropriate for you.

  • We encourage you to invest in a yoga mat of your own; it will be a welcome landing place for you and your energy. Mat rentals are available and will need to be cleaned at the end of the yoga session. Journey Yoga staff members will be happy to help you find a yoga mat suitable for your needs. Special orders are available.

  • It is highly recommended that you drink plenty of water after class to continue flushing toxins from the system.
